INFLUENCING THE INDUSTRY FOR THE BETTER

When the Hitching Post opened its doors in 1979, there was uncertainty among local counties regarding the regulation and permitting of specialized outdoor structures. After a decade of collaboration between industry experts and local authorities, a distinct building code and permitting process were established.

These initial regulations have evolved over the years, becoming more specialized to accommodate the specific requirements of different types of outdoor structures.

For years, we have worked closely with local officials and engineers across Florida to refine these standards. This collaboration has led to stricter building codes and standards, all of which our products meet or exceed. We take pride in offering only the finest structures, expertly crafted to ensure safety and designed to withstand up to 170 MPH winds as per Miami-Dade wind load ratings.
